Learn to play a song on the piano this workshop is for grades K-12 and will be held July 11 - 14 at 11:30 am - 1:30 pm. Students will be taught to play their choice of the following melodies: Traditional: Happy Birthday, Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, Mary Had a Little Lamb or Old MacDonald Had a Farm or Popular Choices: Star Wars Theme, Eye of the Tiger, Indian Jones Theme, Batman Theme the theme from Sponge Bob. There will be a performance at the end of the last session for parents to enjoy and see all that the students have accomplished. 4 Day Workshop $50.

World Music

World Music is for grades K - 12 and will be held July 11 - 14 at 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm. In this workshop students will learn about music from a variety of countries and cultures including music from Africa, The Caribbean, Ireland and Hatti. Students will perform some of the musical ideas from these countries and improvise in these styles. 4 Day Workshop $50.

Music Theory is for grades 4 -12 and will be held July 5 - 7 at 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Students will learn about all the musical elements. Including melody, harmony, rhythm, notation, use of instruments, structure and texture. 3 Day Workshop $37.50.

The Beatles Workshop

The Beatles Workshop is for grades K - 12 and will be held July 5-7 11:30 am - 1:30 pm. We will be looking at a history of the Beatles and following their music 1962-1970. We will learn to play and sing some of their songs. We will also experiment and improvise in style of The Beatles. 3 Day Workshop $$37.50.

Rock Composers

Rock Composers is for grades K- 12 and will be held on Fridays in July 11:30 am - 1:30 pm. We will listen to examples of rock songs from the 1960's to the present day. We will then learn to sing and perform some rock songs from these times. We will be improvising and composing in a rock style and putting together parts of these songs. 4 Day Workshop $50.

The Taylor Swift workshop is for fans grades K through 12. This two day workshop will be June 29 and 30 11:30 am - 1:30 pm. We will listen to Taylor's music and explore what her musical style is all about. We will perform some Taylor Swift songs and improvise around her chord patterns. 2 Day Workshop $25.

The Katy Perry workshop is for fans grades K through 12. This two day workshop will be June 27 and 28 11:30 am - 1:30 pm. Song Writers is for Kindergarten - 12th graders! We will meet June 20-23 at 3:00 pm and finish at 5:00 pm. Song Writing students will love writing their own music and lyrics to a song, focusing on melody, harmony and rhythm. Listen to a recording of their song at home that they will make during the week. 4 Day Workshop $50.

World Drumming

World Drumming is for 2nd through 8th graders and will meet on Monday through Thursday June 20-23 at 11:30 am and finish at 1:30 pm. In world drumming students will visit a different country each day learning the drumming styles from West Africa, The Caribbean and more. Jazz N' Blues

Jazz N' Blues is for students in grades 4th through 12th grade and will meet Monday through Thursday June 13-16 at 3 pm and finish at 5 pm. Jazz N' Blues students will learn how to improvise in a Jazz style, create a swing rhythm, learn and use blues chords and much more.
